Yankees fans and the baseball world on Friday night will have their eyes once again on Aaron Judge’s chase for his 61st home run, but a new MLB television deal will throw a curveball into that process.
As part of a broadcasting deal struck before the season between MLB and Apple, Apple TV+ will exclusively have one game every Friday night. These games were picked before Opening Day.
One of those games includes Friday’s Yankees game against the rival Red Sox, which also happens to now include the intrigue of Judge on the brink of home run No. 61.
The slugger’s next dinger will tie him with Roger Maris for the American League and Yankees record for a single season.
How can you watch? Here are a few options:
How do I get Apple TV+?
To start a subscription to Apple TV+, simply visit tv.apple.com, and sign up by starting a free trial. The service will then be available on Friday nights, as well having access to other Apple TV+ programming.
How much does Apple TV+ cost?
After the conclusion of the free trial, the Apple TV+ service will cost $4.99 per month.
Can I watch the Yankees on Friday night for free on Apple TV+?
If you only wish to watch the Yankees and Judge this Friday, there is an option.
You can start the free trial to watch. However, remember to cancel the trial before it runs out, or you will remain subscribed and on the hook for a charge.
