Crash victim’s widow Kathleen Harrison blasts Kim Kardashian

The widow of a man killed in a 2019 Colorado pile-up has called Kim Kardashian a loudmouth after the reality TV star called for the truck driver’s mandatory 110-year prison sentenced to be reduced.

Kardashian, 41, an aspiring layer who passed California’s “baby bar” exam on the fourth try, recently took to Twitter to butt in on Rogel Aguilera-Mederos’ controversial sentence.

The Cuban immigrant was convicted in October on 42 counts, including vehicular homicide and first-degree assault stemming from the deadly April 25, 2019, crash on I-70 in Lakewood.

A Colorado prosecutor has asked the judge to reconsider the lengthy prison term, which has attracted national attention, including from Kardashian.

“I know everyone has been posting about Rogel Aguilera-Mederos this week. I took a deep dive in it to figure out what the situation is,” she wrote Tuesday.

“Another shocking and unfair part of this case is that the judge didn’t want to sentence him to such a lengthy sentence. However, because of the mandatory minimums in Colorado, his hands were tied. Mandatory minimums take away judicial discretion and need to end,” she wrote.

“I pray that Governor (Jared) Polis, who has been a leader on supporting reforms that increase human dignity in the legal system, will commute his sentence,” Kardashian continued.

“Colorado law really has to be changed and this is so unfair. @GovofCO is a really good person and I know he will do the right thing,” she added.

But Kathleen Harrison, whose husband, Doyle, 61, was killed in the crash, lashed out at the celebrity.

“I don’t think that we want our local proceedings in any state taken over by who has the loudest mouth out there, because people don’t know all the details — they are running on emotion,” Harrison told TMZ.

The widow did acknowledge that the punishment is harsh and suggested a more modest 20 years behind bars, according to the outlet.

“It’s been difficult, sometimes it feels like being half a person,” Harrison said during the driver’s sentencing, CBS Denver reported.

In addition to her husband, the accident claimed the lives of William Bailey, 67, Miguel Angel Lamas Arrellano, 24, and Stanley Politano, 69.

Aguilera-Mederos testified that he was hauling lumber when his brakes failed while the semi-trailer was descending a steep grade in the Rocky Mountain foothills.

His truck plowed into vehicles that had slowed because of another wreck. He was traveling at least 85 mph on a part of the road where commercial vehicles are limited to 45 mph.

Prosecutors argued that the driver could have used a runaway ramp alongside the interstate that is designed to safely stop vehicles that have lost their brakes.

Kardashian recently announced on Instagram that she passed California’s “baby bar” – aka the First-Year Law Students’ Examination — and admitted she previously failed the test three times.

The wannabe legal eagle’s struggles with the exam were documented on the past few seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” including the time she had to skip the test after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
