A 37-year-old man jumped to his death from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Chelsea on Sunday morning, cops said.
The man, whose identity wasn’t immediately released, was found on the ground in front of the building at 227 W. 27th St. around 5 a.m., cops said.
He appeared to have jumped off the building’s ninth floor.
No criminality is suspected, cops said.
The city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The famous institute is part of the State University of New York.
