What’s on Disney Plus: Movies and Shows for January 2022

Going into the new year, Disney Plus is adding heaps of new titles for viewers to dive into in January.

Subscribers can ring in the new year with titles including “X-Men: First Class” on Jan. 1 and both “Like Mike” and “Like Mike 2” on Jan. 7. Four additional chapters of “The Book of Boba Fett” will be released on the streamer as well.

“Eternals” will be available to subscribers on Disney Plus starting Jan. 12. The most recent chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film stars Gemma Chan as the humankind-loving Sersi, Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lia McHugh as the eternally young old-soul Sprite, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
