Meghan King is feeling grateful following her split from Cuffe Biden Owens after two months of marriage.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 37, thanked her fans and followers for their support via her Instagram Story on Thursday.
“Thank you all for your messages,” she wrote. “Thank you for holding space for me. Thank you for lifting me up. You all are good people and I appreciate you. ❤️”
King seems to be in much better spirits now, but admitted she was having a hard time immediately following the breakup.
“I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating,” the reality star shared on Instagram earlier this week.
“This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.”
Page Six was first to report that King and Owens, 42, called it quits on Christmas Eve.
A source told us at the time that the “RHOC” alum “has told friends they broke up.”
There were conflicting reports about what led to the breakup, but King exclusively told us Wednesday that long distance was not an issue for the Los-Angeles based attorney and St. Louis-based blogger.
“Cuffe lived with me,” she clarified to Page Six. “We didn’t have any distance.”
“We lived together every day since the day we met,” she added. “There was no Cali/MO distance. There was zero long distance whatsoever.”
King and Owens tied the knot on Oct. 11 at his childhood home in Kennett Square, Pa. — in front of President Biden, the groom’s uncle, and first lady Jill Biden — just weeks after going Instagram-official.
The marriage was King’s third. She was previously married to her college sweetheart Brad McDill, and then to former MLB star Jim Edmonds, with whom she shares three young children.
