Kelly Dodd predicted Meghan King’s split from Cuffe Biden Owens

Kelly Dodd called it – and so did her podcast listeners.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum predicted former co-star Meghan King’s split from husband Cuffe Biden Owens.

“As bad as we feel for her, neither of us is surprised,” Dodd and her husband, Rick Leventhal, told Page Six in a joint statement.

“We actually talked about her nuptials on our Rick & Kelly Unmasked Podcast right after she tied the knot in October, and both of us predicted it wouldn’t last, because of how new their relationship was and how short their engagement was.”

Dodd, 46, and Leventhal, 61, told Page Six that they both predicted King’s marriage to President Joe Biden’s nephew would last less than a year. They then started “an impromptu contest,” asking their Patreon subscribers to “weigh in via email” at the time.

“One of them wrote us with the winning guess of ‘less than six months.’ We’re sending her a ‘Rick & Kelly Unmasked’ hat,” the couple, who tied the knot in October 2020, told us.

“We realize this might sound bad but we weren’t being heartless, just realistic, based on our own experiences. We both truly hope Meghan finds happiness because she deserves it.”

The Sun was first to report the news on Monday.

Meghan King confirmed her split on her IG Story.
“This situation is profoundly devastating,” King said of her recent split.

Just last week, Page Six exclusively broke the news that King, 37, and Owens, 42, called it quits two months after saying “I do.”

King – who starred alongside Dodd on “RHOC” during seasons 11, 12, and 14 – confirmed the split via her Instagram Story on Monday.

“I’ve been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage,” she began. “I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows – and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out.”

She continued, “At this time I ask for your grace and gentle kindness as I navigate this labyrinth of grief with my family.”

The former couple went Instagram-official in September, and tied the knot just a few weeks later on Oct. 11.

They said “I do” in an intimate ceremony of approximately 50 guests, including the president and first lady Jill Biden.
