Kardashians leaned on each other during 2021

Kris Jenner reflected on the highs and lows her family has experienced this year and said the only way they got through them was by leaning on each other.

The famed momager posted her top nine photos on Instagram on New Year’s Eve and noted how the only ones that made it were the celebrations, but she made sure to acknowledge the “challenges” they’ve faced, too.

“Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! As we go into a new year I think back on everything we have celebrated as a family this last year, as well as the challenges we have faced,” Jenner began her essay of a caption.

“It is no coincidence that my top Instagram posts of 2021 are posts about celebration… celebration of my kids’ birthdays, my grandkids’ birthdays, Mother’s Day, and of course an engagement!” she continued, referring to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s milestone.

Jenner, 66, emotionally gushed about how “every day is a blessing” and how they’re so lucky to “wake up and do what we love, surrounded by those we love.

“This year has had its challenges, as they inevitably always do, but we lean on each other to get through the lows and come together to celebrate the highs,” she wrote, not calling out any specific issue, though fans could surely figure them out.

“Thank you for being here with us. You all mean more to us than you will ever know and I pray that you all find many reasons to celebrate in 2022! Sending you so much love!! Happy New Year!!!! ❤️ #NewYear #HappyNewYear 🥂.”

The past year certainly threw its fair share of problems at the Kardashian-Jenners, including Kim Kardashian’s ongoing divorce from Kanye West as well as Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloé Kardashian … again. Pregnant Kylie Jenner also found herself at the center of a scandal after 10 people died at her boyfriend Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert.

While Kylie, 24, has disappeared from the public space to finish out her pregnancy in private, the rest of the family has carried on in public to “celebrate the highs,” as the matriarch noted. The family gathered for a blended Christmas Eve celebration, where Barker, 46, and his daughters joined Kourtney, 42, and her kids to celebrate the holiday.

Ideally 2022 will bring even more moments of celebration than lows.
