Yes, You Can Change the Look of Your Teeth

Dr. PreziosoIf you are happy with the color of your teeth, but are not happy with the shape, length, or width of your teeth, you have options. Dentists have various ways in which they can achieve the look you desire. They can use a tooth colored resin material to fill in spaces, and re-contour the shape. Dentists can also crown (cap) your teeth. Crowns are usually made of porcelain and encase the entire tooth. Another way to alter the shape of your teeth is with veneers. Veneers are a thin cover that goes over the front surface of your teeth. These also are usually made of porcelain and are very thin and life-like. They are like instant orthodontics. Straighter teeth without braces is the common theme here!

All of the above options have different costs and time requirements. Talk to your dentist if you are not happy with the look of your teeth. He or she will discuss all your options, and assure you of what will work best in your mouth.
