Jake’s Wayback Burgers Celebrates First Day of Summer with Free Milkshakes

America’s Hometown Burger Joint Serves Free Black & White Milkshakes

Jake’s Wayback Burgers, located at 2380 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden (in the Kohls Shopping Center), will celebrate the first day of summer by giving away free 12 oz. Black & White hand-dipped milkshakes on June 20. The free milkshakes will take place at every one of Jake’s Wayback Burgers 49 locations, all day, while supplies last.

Jake’s Wayback Burgers serves over 12 hand-dipped milkshake flavors. Milkshakes are made the old-fashioned way; thick and creamy with real ice cream in a blender, served in metal cups to keep them cold and flavorful. The Black & White milkshake is a signature staple to the Wayback menu, with a perfect blend of vanilla and chocolate.

“Giving away free milkshakes on the first day of summer has been a tradition with our brand for a few years,” said John Eucalitto, president, Jake’s Franchising, LLC. “The Black & White milkshake is the perfect treat to celebrate the first day of summer.”

Jake’s Wayback Burgers serves burgers under the bun, hand-pattied from 100% fresh, never frozen ground beef, and grilled to order. The restaurant offers thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using only fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream. Jake’s Wayback Burgers menu also features marinated grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, and house-made chips, as well as the famous Burger and Shake of the Month.

About Jake’s Wayback Burgers
Founded in 1991 in Newark, Del., Jake’s Wayback Burgers is a quick-serve restaurant chain with a reputation for fresh burgers and thick, hand-dipped milkshakes. Jake’s Wayback Burgers is the re-imaging of the Great American roadside burger stand. It’s a throwback back to an era before Eisenhower and Interstate highways, before drive-in movies, sock-hops and poodle skirts, before Howard Johnson began the process of homogenizing the food people ate across the country. Jake’s Wayback Burgers has locations throughout the east coast and is continuously expanding franchises nationally.
