Hamden Students Send a Powerful Message to Re-Think Before Drink and Drive

SADDHamden High School’s Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Club have assisted the Hamden Youth Advisory Council (HYAC) in their “Positive Choices” Campaign to prevent underage drinking and drug use in Hamden. HYAC encourages youth voice and youth participation in the campaign and their recent display certainly sends a strong message: “Re-Think, or It’s Over in a Blink.” The SADD group, with assistance from their advisor, Jennifer Kendall and with help from Wheeler Auto Service of Hamden, organized an impactful display of a crashed car, placed beneath SADD’s “Re-Think, or It’s Over in a Blink” banner on the front grounds of Hamden High School. HYAC and SADD encourage all to make “Positive Choices” to remain safe and healthy during graduation season and the summer months ahead.
