Free Movie Nights, Plus Simulcast of Yankees/Red Sox Game

The Town of Hamden planned a series of community events for Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Avenue, this August. 

Free movies have and will be shown on several Friday nights. Members of the public were able to cast votes to determine the movie selections, which include: “Raiders of the Lost Ark” on August 24, and “The Princess Bride” on August 31.

On Sunday, August 19, attendees will be treated to a live simulcast of a Yankees/Red Sox game. The event is a cooperative endeavor between the Town, Comcast, and ESPN. The game will be shown on a special 40 ft. inflatable screen, courtesy of Fun Flicks Outdoor Movies.

All events start at 8pm. Food available on site includes hot dogs, hamburgers, fried dough, kettle-popped popcorn, and ice cream. For questions, call 203.287.2579.
