Burglary - Worth Avenue - Sliding Door Removed/Residents Asleep

On July 22nd Hamden Police responded to a Worth Avenue residence on the report of a burglary.

Investigation revealed that as the 80 year-old resident and his wife were sleeping, an individual entered their dwelling by removing the sliding glass door. The handles on the door were found lying on the ground. It appears that the individual(s) then entered and rummaged through the residence. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.
