Arrest of Juan Posada-Hernandez - Capital Sexual Battery of a Child

On January 22nd the United States Marshal Service Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force, in which Hamden Police Detective Raymond Quinn is a member, attempted to serve a felony warrant for the Collier County Florida’s Sheriff’s Office. Collier County Sheriff’s Office was in the possession of an arrest warrant for Juan Posada-Hernandez, for the charge of Capital Sexual Battery of a Child Under 12 Years Old.

USMS Task Force members subsequently located Posada-Hernandez at his place of employment, Splash Car Wash in Hamden. He was arrested and transported to Hamden Police Headquarters.

Juan Posada-Hernandez, 29, of 168 Blatchley Avenue, New Haven, was charged with Fugitive from Justice. He was detained at police headquarters on a $500,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on February 5th.
