Illegally Obtaining Drugs - 2 Arrests - Cash and Flanagan

On June 6th Hamden Police met with the owner of Whitneyville Dental, on the report of prescription fraud.
Investigation revealed that Jessica Cash, who was an employee at Whitneyville Dental, fraudulently called in a prescription for Hydrocodone into a local pharmacy. Cash allegedly contacted the pharmacy on 6 different occasions, between July of 2011 and May of 2012. She allegedly called in the prescription, in the name of her friend, Erica Flanagan. A total of 150 pills were given to Cash and Flanagan during this time period.
Officer Craig Appleby, after completing his investigation, submitted arrest warrant applications to the court. The arrest warrants were subsequently approved.
On July 2nd, both Cash and Flanagan turned themselves in to police custody.
Hamden Police arrested:
Jessica Cash, 25, of 350 Savin Avenue, Apt. A73, West Haven. She was charged with 6 counts of Illegally Obtaining Drugs and 6 counts of Conspiracy to Illegally Obtain Drugs. Cash, who was released on a Written Promise to Appear, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on July 18th.
Erica Flanagan, 26, of 99 Hillside Avenue, Milford. She was charged with 6 counts of Illegally Obtaining Drugs and 6 counts of Conspiracy to Illegally Obtain Drugs. Flanagan, who was released on a Written Promise to Appear, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on July 18th.
