Blessed Sacrament Church Plans Vacation Bible Camp
by Staff ◊ May 18, 2012
Blessed Sacrament Parish, 321 Circular Avenue, Hamden, is buzzing with excitement as plans are being made for “Sky,” a special Vacation Bible Camp Program created especially for young children. Our Sky program will provide fun, memorable, Scripture-based activities for children currently in grades K-6. Each day, children will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, enjoy tasty treats, take on a Daily Challenge to celebrate God’s love, experience electrifying Bible adventures, called Bible Memory Builders, and experience a new activity called Imagination Station.
Sky is an exciting way for children to learn more about their faith. Each day concludes with a closing celebration – a celebration that gets all participants involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join us daily for this special time. We hope Sky will give children a wonderful experience of fun and faith this summer.
Sky, which begins on Monday, July 16, and continues through Friday, July 20, is for children currently in grades K-6. The fee to attend Vacation Bible Camp is $25. Children from other parishes and other faith denominations are welcome to register. Parents may register children at the parish center located at 322 Circular Avenue between the hours of 9:30am and 2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
