Carmela Mongillo

Carmela Mongillo, 39, of 728 Pine Rock Ave., Hamden, died April 12, 2012, at the Masonic Home after a long illness. Carmela was born in New Haven, January 9, 1973, and was a nail technician for several shops in the West Haven and Ansonia area prior to her illness. She is survived by her mother, Geraldine Wright of Hamden, her father, Clement (Laurie) Mongillo Sr. of Higganum, a brother, Clement Mongillo III of Hamden, her paternal grandmother, Susan Mongillo of West Haven, a niece, Ashley Wright of Woodbridge, and several aunts and uncles.

Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was entrusted with the arrangements.
