Robbery Arrest - Thomas Vollano

On October 14th at approximately 5:00p.m. Hamden Police responded to the area of 1954 State Street on the report of a dispute. Furthermore, officers were advised that a truck was fleeing from the area.

Moments later, Officer Mark Katz stopped the vehicle on Carmalt Street. An occupant of the vehicle told officers that she contacted her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Vollano, and asked him to sell her marijuana. When they met him, Vollano alleged stole her money.

A fight then erupted between 2 females. Vollano, who was in the possession of a golf club, allegedly became involved. He then allegedly struck the windshield of the vehicle, which contained his ex-girlfriend. Thomas Vollano was subsequently arrested.

Hamden Police arrested:

Thomas Vollano, 28, of 45 Terrace Street, New Haven. He was charged with Robbery in the 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. Vollano, who was detained at police headquarters on a $10,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on October 27th.
