The Hamden Democratic Party will hold its convention to choose candidates for municipal offices on Monday, July 25, at 7pm, in Thornton Wilder Hall, Miller Memorial Library, 2901 Dixwell Avenue.
Candidates will be nominated for Mayor, Town Clerk, Legislative Council At Large, District Council, and Board of Education. Three Board of Education seats are on the November ballot and a party may nominate two candidates.
“A few weeks ago, Scott Jackson announced his plans to run for a second term as Mayor of Hamden,” said Joseph McDonagh, Hamden Democratic Party Chair, “and we are excited that Scott will be leading the Hamden Democratic ticket again. We expect to have a terrific field of candidates in November, and we are looking forward to a great campaign.”
