Quinnipiac Bank & Trust Continues Its Community Support

QBank DrivesQuinnipiac Bank & Trust, one of the New Haven area’s prominent community banks, continues to give back to the community with both food and clothing drives extended into 2011.

Mark Candido, the bank’s president, had high praise for both his staff and local social services that partner with the bank to aid local needy families.  “Thus far, we’ve collected more than 300 winter coats to distribute locally,” he said.  “Between our recent `green cleanup’ campaign, the ongoing food and clothing drives, and special help to area seniors, the bank’s commitment in `people hours’ has been outstanding.

“From our inception, it was our mandate to put the bank’s resources back into the community, whether it meant donating personal time or granting loan funds.  During some tough lending times, Quinnipiac Bank & Trust stuck to its guns for the benefit of the community.”

Candido sees the same commitment through 2011.  “We’re intent to devote both personal time and sound financial support to this area.  When a bank professes to be a true `community bank,’ that position has to be backed up with specific action.”
